Why is communication so important during an emergency?
Communication during a disaster is really important because people might need help during a natural disaster, if they do not get help they might die or get seriously injured. Also people might get stuck on a high place or need help so we need people like firemen to help them out.

- Alarms

What essential information needs to be communicated during a disaster or an emergency?
Some essential information could be
- What had happened in the disaster
- Time when did the event take place
- what caused the disaster
- who died or went missing during the disaster

Emergencies
such as an earthquake, tsunami or tornadoes are unexpected so there is nothing
you can do to prepare. It is always better to be one step ahead so you can plan
ahead, even though there is no earth quake. Emergencies such as hurricanes and
floods can use the emergency plans. The emergency plan
consists: emergency food, kits and items. Making elevated houses,
planting plants, deepening the rivers, etc.

Online
communication only needs a device that has access to internet, such as
smartphones and computers. Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome are some of the
softwares that can be used in order to communicate online.
